
Sri Lanka government is to establish a new camp to detain the female LTTE cadres who surrendered to the security forces.
Suhada Gamlath, the Secretary of the Justice and Law Enforcement Ministry said nearly 1,000 female LTTE cadres have surrendered to the government during the last few months.
The Ministry has already made a special program to rehabilitate those surrendered female LTTE cadres, he added.
Following the establishment of the new detention center the government is to introduce several vocational training courses for the inmates.
