SLFP appoints three more crossed over members as organizers

Sri Lanka Freedom party (SLFP) has decided to appoint three ministers who crossed over from the opposition United National Party as party organizers.

Government sources said that the ministers, Bandula Gunawardena, Gamini Lokuge and W.B Ekanayaka would be appointed as SLFP organizers for their respective electoral seats.

Trade, Marketing Development and Consumer Affairs Minister Bandula Gunawardena is to be appointed as the chief organizer of Homagama electorate.

Sports and Public Recreation Minister Gamini Lokuge will be appointed as the chief organizer of Kesbewa electorate while W.B Ekanayaka, Deputy Minister of Highways is to be appointed as the chief organizer of Anuradhapura- West electorate.

The appointments are to be announced tomorrow by the President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
